What Dr G.Rakesh does

Physiotherapy is where recovery actually happens - the weeks after the surgery, the fracture or the stroke, when getting movement and strength back depends on doing the right exercises, correctly, every day. It also treats a great deal of ordinary pain: the back that aches from a desk, the knee that has stiffened, the shoulder that won't lift. The honest truth of the department is that the results come from the patient's own effort, guided well - which is why the exercises you are given matter more than the time on the machine.

Any medicine you are already taking - bring the strips or the box, not just the names
Previous prescriptions, discharge summaries and scan or blood reports, even old ones

Before you book

Do I have to pay to book?

No. Booking is free and there is no online payment. The ₹400 consultation fee is paid at the hospital desk on the day.

What if I just walk in?

Walk-ins are always seen. Booking only means you are not waiting - Dr G.Rakesh consults every day, open 24 hours.

Which languages can I be seen in?

Dr G.Rakesh consults in Telugu english. If you would be more comfortable in another language, tell the front desk when you book and they will arrange for someone to sit in.

Where do I go once I have registered?

OPD Block · Physiotherapy. The desk will point you to it, and your OP number is called from there.

How soon will I get my reports?

Routine blood work comes back in about 30 minutes, so in most cases the doctor can go through the results with you in the same visit rather than at another one.

Can I change or cancel the time?

Yes - call the front desk on +91 9100005195 and they will move it. Please give as much notice as you can, so the slot goes to someone else.

What should I bring?
