What Dr V Prashanth does

Bone and joint problems are where people wait longest - a knee is tolerated for years, a back is blamed on age. That waiting is usually what makes the treatment harder. With digital X-ray on site, most problems are seen, imaged and explained in one visit, and a good number are managed with physiotherapy, injections and load changes rather than an operation.

M.B.B.SBachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - the primary medical degree, five and a half years including internship.
M.SMaster of Surgery - three years of postgraduate surgical training.

Before you book

Do I have to pay to book?

No. Booking is free and there is no online payment. The ₹400 consultation fee is paid at the hospital desk on the day.

What if I just walk in?

Which languages can I be seen in?

Dr V Prashanth consults in Telugu, English. If you would be more comfortable in another language, tell the front desk when you book and they will arrange for someone to sit in.

Where do I go once I have registered?

How soon will I get my reports?

Routine blood work comes back in about 30 minutes, so in most cases the doctor can go through the results with you in the same visit rather than at another one.

Can I change or cancel the time?

Yes - call the front desk on +91 9100005195 and they will move it. Please give as much notice as you can, so the slot goes to someone else.

What should I bring?
