What Dr B. Poornachander does
A surgical opinion is mostly a decision about whether to operate at all. Plenty of lumps, hernias and gallstones can be watched safely; some cannot, and the difference is worth an examination, a scan and a straight answer. This clinic gives that answer at the first visit wherever the imaging allows it.
Where an operation is the right call, keyhole is the default: gall bladder, appendix, hernia and diagnostic laparoscopy all go through small ports rather than a long cut. That usually means one or two nights in hospital instead of a week, and a return to ordinary work in days.
Emergency surgery runs round the clock. Appendicitis, an obstructed hernia, a perforation or an abscess do not wait for a list, and the theatre and anaesthetic team are staffed so they do not have to.

Qualifications, in plain words
- MS (General Surgery)Master of Surgery - three years of postgraduate surgical training in general surgery.
