Neurology is a history speciality. What the symptom did - how fast it came, what it affected, what it spared, what came back - usually names the problem before any scan does, which is why this clinic asks a lot of questions and expects the family to fill in what the patient cannot.
Stroke is the emergency that runs through everything. The treatment window is measured in hours, so a face that has dropped, an arm that has gone weak or speech that has slurred is an emergency call and not an appointment - even if it recovers on its own within minutes, which is a warning rather than an all-clear.
The scheduled work is headache, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, dizziness and nerve pain, and it is long-term work. Seizure control and Parkinson's medication are adjusted over months against a record kept between visits, so bringing a diary is genuinely more useful here than bringing another scan.
